The major use of belt conveyors is for light duty conveying applications. They are particularly suitable for the transport of packed and unpacked unit loads of a variety of shapes and sizes Conveyor Networks provides belt conveyor systems for almost every branch of industry due to the comprehensive range of standard components and special accessories, the conveyors can be easily adapted to solve special conveying problems.

Essential features of our conveyors are long life and high reliability as well as smooth running at a low noise level. Interfaces e.g. infeed or discharge points, diverters and crossings hardly ever cause any problems, as all key components are standard. These features are prerequisites for the successful handling of sensitive loads in materials flow application. Belt widths of 300mm up to 1000mm are possible. Special situations allow that conveyors of up to 2500mm or more are required example would be multiple line merge situation and for this we would use our partner product “Mega merge” from Transnorm. Belt conveyors can also be used in other applications apart from transport, they are sometimes used as a “plough” where product shall be moved from one side of a conveyor to another or maybe to be used as an aligning guide.

The main use would be for transporting goods from one point to another at low cost and simple operation. Depending on the load, lengths of greater than 20 metres can be achieved on one conveyor. Conveyors can be supplied in a number of different forms, eg with central drive unit or end drive unit, also supplied with different belt types to suit the application.

The main use is of course change of elevation. This is probably the most cost effective way of changing height. Conveyors can be installed with suitable belt material to allow transport at angles of typically up to 25 degrees. For elevation of product see also Spiralveyor

Used for speed changing and for product metering, an example would be as a control unit for the infeed to a sorter or a machine. We can offer these units with end drive unit and with a range of width length configurations.
