What we do

about 1_(960x200)

At Conveyor Networks we believe in delivering smart, affordable and fully integrated intelligent systems to solve your factory automation and logistics problems. If a system is intelligent it will ultimately help your business increase efficiency and productivity. We are true experts in making sure this is the case every step of the way which is why the service we offer covers each stage of the process. Our wide range of services include;

Design consultancy

An intelligent system needs to be intelligently designed and that’s where we start at Conveyor Networks. We work closely with our client to gain a detailed brief and requirement specification so we fully understand the business and what you hope the system / project will achieve. Our in-house team then work to design a solution tailored to your needs which has the ability to communicate with any existing systems and processes you may have.

Installation

We are experts in both electrical and mechanical installation so whether you need advice or your current system needs modification, our unique partnership in the UK with Transnorm means we have unrivalled access to the very latest conveyor hardware systems and solutions. We also work closely with Transnorm’s highly qualified team of engineers. Find out more about our partnership by clicking here. For any system we are able provide you with all the required test certificates such as IEE, NICEIC and we have set up partnerships with leading systems manufacturers Siemens and Rockwell.

Software

Ensuring you have the correct software in place to enable your system to function effectively is absolutely key to any system. We are proud to have the in-house expertise to design and code software that can operate at all levels for all interfaces. We are also proud to have developed our own Interface Manager software which enables integrated communication between your automated equipment and your existing business systems. Interface Manager handles all the communication and data exchange required for your automated system to function in one simple interface which we manage so you don’t have to. It very simply brings together all technologies to provide your business with the complete solution.

System and safety audits

We take safety seriously and safety management is built into everything we do. From pre-installation meetings, comprehensive risk assessments and production of method statements through to toolbox talks, our team are both highly experienced and highly qualified so you can be assured that you are in safe hands. We are proud to be SAFE Contractor approved, members of SafetyNet and have also been independently audited to carry out Principal Contractor role. All our sub-contractors go through a rigorous vetting process to ensure that they have the required safety standards and everything we do complies with the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2007.

Project Management

For any complex project, efficient project management is absolutely crucial so all parties involved know exactly what is supposed to take place and when. For logistics and factory operations that also need to remain operational 24/7 even whilst changes are taking place, precise scheduling is even more important. We believe in working to comprehensive project plans which set out timelines and detail every step of any project. They cover the whole project from design specifications right through to testing, safety checks and system commissioning. The close partnership working we have with our clients and sub-contractors from the start also helps to ensure everyone understands the project management timescales and scheduling.

Ongoing support

Once a system is installed our job doesn’t end there. We can offer ongoing support at a level to suit your business needs and the requirements of your system. This support may vary, from simple telephone support to remote connectivity, 24/7 support and provision of spare parts. Some clients, particularly those in retail may only need support around peak periods.
Our in-house engineers have the skills to handle electrical, software, IT and mechanical queries. We will work closely with our clients to develop the right package of support for their needs.

Packages include;

  • Preventative Maintenance
  • Corrective Maintenance
  • Hotline support
  • Remote Monitoring
  • Resident Engineer
  • Software / IT Support
  • Spare parts
  • Training

So whatever the level of support you need, we can provide it for you.

Spare parts

We offer a spare parts service for all our systems, all you have to do is contact us and tell us what you need and we’ll get it for you. We also encourage clients when a system is installed to buy a ‘First Aid Kit’ of spares so that they always have access to the most critical parts to minimise disruption should any need to be replaced.

Training

Training on these complex systems is absolutely key for our clients and we offer comprehensive operator or engineer training in all aspects of our systems given by our highly skilled team. We offer training either on site and can even offer training at the new Transnorm technical and competence centre in Germany (if appropriate).
